What we are all about
We are Kilcummin community group who are a dedicated team of local residents who come together to maintain the beauty and charm of our village & surrounds, including our vibrant park. This group is made up of volunteers from all walks of life, united by their love for the community and a shared commitment to preserving its character.
The group meets regularly to organise activities such as planting flowers, trimming hedges, and keeping public spaces clean. They ensure that the village’s pathways are well-maintained, the park’s makeup is safe and in good condition, and the green spaces are lush and inviting. They also take on larger projects, like adding new elements to the park or planting new trees, to enhance the environment.
Beyond physical upkeep, the group fosters a strong sense of community by organising seasonal events like clean-up days and planting events. All of this effort make the village and its park a welcoming, well-kept place where everyone can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant environment.
